When our customers told us that they wanted the same great features in a model that was a bit bigger, we listened! Here's the new Traveler XL series " TXL.
To arrive at the bigger TXL models was not simply a case of oescaling up. To maintain SIRUI's uncompromising quality standards, All key areas were studied, and re-engineered. The results are spectacular, with more powerful legs delivering a payload capacity up to 15kg. Matched to SIRUI's famous CNC-cut, forged aluminium casting, this tripod is built for years of use and maximum stability.
True to the Traveller form, the legs pivot through 180 degrees, enclosing the ball head and making the closed tripod very compact (from just 47cm). The legs have click-stop angle settings, and the tube sections are locked securely in place using sealed-ring twist locks, ensuring best possible locking performance while also being more comfortable to operate with cold, wet or gloved hands.
For flexible shooting, the centre column is a two piece design " use the entire piece for extra height, or just the short piece to enable ground-level positioning.
Unlike many brands, SIRUI are passionate about providing you with everything you need straight form the box, and the TXL series is no different. The tripod is equipped with non-slip rubber feet, providing a stable base on any firm surface. The T-2004XL, T-2204XL are also equipped with a set of spiked feet for use on soft ground. All models include a stabiliser hook for attaching extra weight (your camera bag or a stone bag) to aid stability on windy days, and foam grips on the legs for secure handling with wet or cold hands. Completing the package is a matched ball head from SIRUI's E-Series.
